TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani has denied that Iran has delivered drones to Russia for use in the Ukraine conflict, the Foreign Ministry website reported on Tuesday.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran considers news published on the delivery of (Iran's) drones to Russia for use in the Ukraine conflict as baseless and does not confirm it," Kanaani was quoted as saying. (Iran-Drones-Russia)

ADEN, Yemen -- At least three soldiers were killed and five others injured in an attack launched by unknown gunmen against crude oil tankers in the country's southeastern province of Shabwa on Tuesday, a military official told Xinhua.

"Soldiers securing crude oil tankers were targeted by a group of gunmen when traveling through a main road linking the provinces of Shabwa and Hadramout," the local military source said on condition of anonymity. (Yemen-Oil Tanker Attack-Casualties)

ANKARA -- The Turkish coast guard on Tuesday rescued 143 migrants who were in several boats adrift in the Aegean Sea, the country's coast guard command said.

RABAT -- Morocco and Saudi Arabia pledged on Tuesday to boost trade and economic cooperation at a bilateral economic forum held in Casablanca, the commercial hub city of Morocco.

Morocco aims to increase its trade with Saudi Arabia to 5 billion U.S. dollars in the next five years from the current amount of 1.7 billion dollars, said Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour at Morocco-Saudi Arabia Economic Forum, also attended by Saudi Minister of Commerce Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi.
