BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- Atletico Tucuman wasted a chance to regain top spot in Argentina's Primera Division standings on Monday when they were held to a 1-1 home draw by Union Santa Fe.
The visitors went ahead just after halftime courtesy of Claudio Corvalan's close-range header following a nodded flick from Facundo Aguero.
The equalizer came in the 89th minute as Kevin Isa lashed an unstoppable right-footed effort into the top right corner.
Atletico Tucuman are now second in the 28-team standings with one match remaining, two points behind leaders Boca Juniors, who have a game in hand.
In other Primera Division fixtures on Monday, Barracas Central won 2-1 at Arsenal Sarandi, Gimnasia were held to a 2-2 home draw by Argentinos Juniors, Velez Sarsfield cruised to a 4-0 home victory over Estudiantes and San Lorenzo won 4-1 at Sarmiento. Enditem
