BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Arsenal Sarandi scored three goals in six first-half minutes to set up a 4-1 away victory over Tigre in their last match of the Argentine Primera Division season on Monday.
Julian Navas opened the scoring for the visitors with a 39th-minute strike from 12 yards before Mauro Pitton rifled in his team's second goal from distance.
Juan Apaolaza extended the lead on the stroke of halftime with a close range finish after combining with Facundo Kruspzky. The latter went from provider to scorer just after the restart when he slotted a low effort past Gonzalo Marinelli.
Tigre pulled a goal back through Blas Armoa, who latched onto Facundo Colidio's through ball before caressing a shot into the bottom-right corner 19 minutes from time.
The result lifted Arsenal to 23rd in the 28-team standings with 30 points from 27 games, 13 points behind seventh-placed Tigre.
In other Primera Division fixtures on Monday, Barracas Central were held to a 1-1 home draw by Newell's Old Boys and Colon drew 1-1 at Rosario Central. Enditem
