BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chengdu Rongcheng edged Shandong Luneng 2-1, while Wuhan Three Towns retook the league leader position after seeing off Meizhou Hakka 3-0 in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Monday.

Levelled with 62 points apiece, Wuhan edged Shandong to lead the CSL table due to goal differential.

Cryzan Barcelos almost brought Shandong an early lead in the 15th minute, but his long low shot went wide.

Two minutes later, Romulo Jose Pacheco da Silva broke the deadlock for Chengdu through a corner kick shot, and added his second with a long lob in the midfield in the 22nd minute.

Shandong's 24-year-old goalkeeper Li Guanxi paid his tuition as the international goalkeeper Wang Dalei was under suspension, and the other goalkeeper Han Rongze sat out due to injury.

Before the half break, Cryzan pulled one back through a freekick for the defending champion who missed several chances in the second half for an equalizer.

When facing Meizhou Hakka, Marcos Vinicius Amaral Alves and Ademilson Braga Bispo Junior scored a goal each for Wuhan Three Towns in the first half.

Aleksa Vukanovic of Meizhou was shown red in the 32nd minute.

In the 69th minute, Davidson Da Luz Pereira completed Wuhan's scoring show with a close-range powerful shot.

Elsewhere, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger won over Shanghai Shenhua 2-1, Changchun Yatai smashed Hebei FC 4-1, and Beijing Guoan beat Guangzhou city 2-1. Enditem
