WARSAW, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- Tunisia men's handball team beat South Korea 35-32 on Friday to win the 4 Nations Cup in Krakow, Poland with a perfect record of three victories.

After beating Poland and Brazil at the Tauron Arena Krakow, the side coached by Patrick Cazal was just one step from winning the 4 Nations Cup. On Friday, the African team handled the pressure to claim their third consecutive victory.

The tournament favorite made a perfect start after just a few minutes as a pivot Jihed Jaballah beat the South Korean goalie to make it 6-2 on the scoreboard.

The South Koreans, who had problems in the defence in the first part of the game, turned the pace to level the score 16-16 by the end of the first half.

In the second half, Cazal's players made some unforced errors but goalie Asil Namli showed great quality to make several spectacular saves. The Tunisians were in front 27-24 with 10 minutes to go, and then they controlled the game to win the match 35-32. Left winger Oussama Boughanmi was awarded MVP of the clash.

Poland, who smashed Brazil 31-23 on Friday evening, took second place with two wins and four points. South Korea were third, while Brazil were fourth as they lost all games in Poland.

For the hosts of the tournament, the 4 Nations Cup was the main organizational test before the IHF 2023 World Men's Championship, which will be played from January 11 to 29, 2023 in Poland and Sweden. Enditem
