LONDON, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Mark Williams and Judd Trump are going to fight for the trophy at the Snooker Masters as both players won the semifinals on Saturday.

Williams, 47, whitewashed Jack Lisowski 6-0 to reach the final of the prestigious invitational event for the first time since 2003.

The world No. 7 didn't make any century in the match but pushed himself forward after a scrappy opening frame.

"I made a lot of good breaks in scrappy frames which were as good as the centuries I made against Ronnie the other day," Williams was quoted by the World Snooker Tour website.

Williams edged out world No. 1 and seven-time Masters champion Ronnie O'Sullivan 6-5 in the quarterfinal on Thursday where he made two centuries and four more breaks over 50.

Later on Saturday, Trump saw off Stuart Bingham 6-1 to reach the Masters final for the second time. Last time, he defeated O'Sullivan to claim the title in 2019. Enditem
