ISLAMABAD, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Palestine and Bangladesh will compete in the semifinals of the 15th West Asia Baseball Cup in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Pakistan Federal Baseball (PFB) president Syed Fakhar Ali told Xinhua that the two semifinals, initially scheduled to take place on Monday, were rescheduled due to heavy rain in Pakistan's capital.
Palestine and Bangladesh will contest in the first semifinal before Pakistan take on Sri Lanka at the Pakistan Sports Complex.
Pakistan stood on top, followed by Bangladesh in Group A. Palestine led Group B with three victories, followed by Sri Lanka with two wins.
Afghanistan and Nepal were winless, while India secured one victory as the three teams crashed out of the seven-team event. Enditem
