ISLAMABAD -- Death toll of Monday's suicide blast in a mosque in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has risen to 100 on Tuesday with over 200 others injured, hospital sources said.

Muhammad Asim, spokesperson of Lady Reading Hospital, told Xinhua that 53 wounded victims are being treated at the hospital while the rest were discharged after treatment. (Pakistan-Blast-Death Toll)

OUAGADOUGOU -- At least 28 people, including soldiers and civilians, were killed in two separate gunmen attacks on Sunday and Monday in Burkina Faso, a regional governor and the army have revealed.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistani rescue workers recovered 21 more bodies from a dam in the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, taking the death toll of Sunday's boat incident to 52, an official said on Tuesday.

KABUL -- Four people were killed and 18 others injured after the roof of their house collapsed in Afghanistan's northern Balkh province, provincial police spokesman Mohammad Asif Waziri said Tuesday.

The incident took place late on Monday in the mountainous Qoriq village of Charkent district, killing four members of the family including two children, and injuring 18 others including women and children, with some in critical condition, the official said.
