DHAKA -- At least 10 people were killed and more than 100 others injured in a massive explosion that took place in a commercial building in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka on Tuesday, officials said.

LUSAKA -- The 23rd Chinese medical team in Zambia on Tuesday donated medical equipment and other supplies to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH), the biggest public hospital in the country, to help improve healthcare delivery.

BANGKOK -- Thailand's cabinet on Tuesday approved an additional incentive package to promote domestic production of electric vehicles (EVs) by waiving import duties for certain parts.

The tariff exemption applies to nine lists of parts, including batteries and traction motors, imported for assembly or manufacturing of battery-powered vehicles and boats, Anucha Burapachaisri, deputy secretary-general to the prime minister and government spokesman, told a news conference.
