WASHINGTON -- A CSX freight train derailed Wednesday after it struck a rockslide in the U.S. state of West Virginia, injuring three crew members.

All four of the train's locomotives and nine empty coal cars derailed, CSX Transportation, a freight railroad company, said in a press release. (U.S.-West Virginia-Train Derailment)

KIEV -- Ukraine's grain production will drop by 37 percent this year, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported Thursday, citing an official forecast.

RAMALLAH -- Three Palestinians were killed on Thursday by Israeli soldiers in the village of Jaba, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
