PANAMA CITY, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Panama coach Thomas Christiansen has named six foreign-based players in his squad for a friendly against world champions Argentina, the Central American country's football federation said on Wednesday.

The 20-man list include Venezuela-based defenders Ivan Anderson (Monagas), Richard Peralta (Deportivo La Guaira) and Jiovany Ramos (Deportivo Tachira).

There were also call-ups for midfielder Martin Moran of Bulgaria's Etar VT, playmaker Cristian Quintero of Uruguay's La Luz and forward Alfredo Stephens, who plays with Venezuela's Puerto Cabello.

The clash at the Monumental stadium in Buenos Aires on March 23 will be Argentina's first outing since the team's penalty shootout victory over France in the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar last December.

Christiansen said last week that he would field a weakened squad against the South American side to prioritize the CONCACAF Nations League duel against Costa Rica five days later.

Panama squad:

Goalkeepers: Emerson Dimas, Jose Guerra

Defenders: Ivan Anderson, Michael Casazola, Edgardo Farina, Kevin Galvan, Gilberto Hernandez, Richard Peralta, Jiovany Ramos

Midfielders: Ricardo Avila, Omar Browne, Miguel Camargo, Irving Gudino, Victor Medina, Martin Moran, Jose Murillo, Cristian Quintero, Jorge Serrano
