JERUSALEM, March 22 (Xinhua) -- An impressive comeback, erasing a 22-point deficit in the third quarter, gave Israeli champions Hapoel Holon an 88-81 overtime home win against French side DJA Dijon in the round of 16 of the Basketball Champions League on Wednesday.

It was Holon's only win, achieved in the last gameday of the four-team Israeli-French Group I, while Dijon finished third with a 2-4 win-loss record, with both teams failing to qualify for the quarterfinals.

The visitors took a 23-13 lead at the end of the first quarter of the game thanks to points by Matt Mobley and rebounds by Robin Ducote.

Abdoulaye Loum inspired Dijon to increase the lead to 51-32 by halftime before David Holston cut Dijon's deficit to 72-75 with 36 seconds to go. Markis McDuffie sent the game to overtime with three successful free throws with 0.7 seconds to the final buzzer. In overtime, decisive points by Niv Misgav and Manny Harris ensured Holon the win.

Manny Harris scored a game-high 25 points, while his teammates C.J. Harris and Javin DeLaurier added 15 points each. Mobley scored a team-high 17 points for Dijon. Holston added 15 more.

Hapoel Jerusalem and SIG Strasbourg advanced from the group to the quarterfinals, which will begin in early April with a best-of-three series format. Enditem
