WASHINGTON -- The death toll from tornadoes sweeping the southern U.S. state of Mississippi has reached 25 while dozens of others were injured, authorities said on Saturday afternoon.

MAPUTO -- At least 17 people, including three children, were killed in a deadly road accident in central Mozambique on Saturday morning, the state radio channel Radio Mozambique reported on Sunday.

TUNIS -- Tunisian coast guards have retrieved 29 bodies of illegal immigrants after two boats sank off Tunisian coasts, Tunisian National Guard said Sunday.
