JERUSALEM, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv achieved a 111-80 home win against Italy's Virtus Bologna in the 31st round of basketball's EuroLeague on Tuesday.

It was Maccabi's 18th win in total 31 games, reaching a home record of 13-2, while Bologna stay with 13 wins, losing a chance to finish in the top eight and qualify for the playoffs.

Bonzie Colson and Jarell Martin inspired Maccabi to a 28-13 lead in the first quarter of the game played at the Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv.

Points by Roman Sorkin and Darrun Hilliard helped Maccabi secure the win as early as halftime, with a decisive 62-33 lead.

Hilliard scored 16 points for Maccabi. His teammates Lorenzo Brown and Wade Baldwin scored 14 points each, adding eight and seven assists respectively. Semi Ojeleye scored a team-high 16 points for Bologna.

Maccabi will next play against Armani Milan in Tel Aviv, while Bologna will face Anadolu Efes in Türkiye, with both games scheduled for Thursday. Enditem
