BELO HORIZONTE, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Paulinho scored two second-half goals as Atletico Mineiro came from behind to clinch a 2-1 home win over Brazilian rivals Athletico Paranaense in their Copa Libertadores Group G match on Tuesday.

The visitors took the lead just after halftime through Alex Santana, who tapped in from close range after Christian Cardoso's shot was palmed away by goalkeeper Everson.

Paulinho equalized in the 68th minute by starting and finishing a move that ended with an unstoppable first-time effort into the far corner.

The former Bayer Leverkusen forward then put the hosts ahead by heading home at the near post after an Igor Gomes free-kick.

Atletico Mineiro are now second in their group with six points from four outings, a point behind leaders Athletico Paranaense.

In other Copa Libertadores fixtures on Tuesday, Bolivar won 1-0 at home to Barcelona SC, Independiente Medellin prevailed 2-1 at home to Nacional, Racing won 2-1 at Aucas and Colo-Colo drew 1-1 at Monagas. Enditem
