VIENNA -- Three people have died in a fire that broke out early Tuesday morning at a hospital in the town of Moedling, near Vienna, local authorities have said.

OUAGADOUGOU -- About 40 people, including army auxiliaries, were killed over the weekend in two terrorist attacks in northwestern Burkina Faso, sources said Tuesday.

CAIRO -- At least three people were killed and 27 others wounded on Tuesday as a minibus collided with a truck on a desert road in Egypt's Giza province near the capital Cairo.

MOGADISHU -- Somali National Army (SNA) said Tuesday its forces killed 30 al-Shabab militants and recovered three battle wagons after an attack on a military base in Masagaway town in central Somalia, the government said.
