BUENOS AIRES, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Benjamin Rollheiser converted a second-half penalty to earn Argentine club Estudiantes a 1-1 home draw with Brazil's Bragantino in their Copa Sudamericana Group C clash on Wednesday.

The visitors went ahead on the stroke of halftime when Thiago Borbas pounced on a defensive error and sent a back-heel pass into the path of Eric Ramires, whose powerful first-time effort left goalkeeper Mariano Andujar with no chance.

But the momentum swung just after the hour when Juninho Capixaba was dismissed for a second yellow card after handling in the area.

Rollheiser held his nerve with the resultant spot-kick and there was little urgency from either side thereafter as both secured a place in the last 16.

In other Copa Sudamericana fixtures on Wednesday, Emelec were held to a 1-1 home draw by Guarani and Audax Italiano prevailed 2-1 at Blooming. Enditem
