TEHRAN -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on Saturday exchanged views on ways to expand bilateral relations.

In a 90-minute phone call from Macron, the two presidents also talked about the latest regional developments and the negotiations on the revival of a 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and world powers and removal of the sanctions on Tehran, according to a statement published on the website of the Iranian president's office. ABUJA -- Nigerian military said on Saturday that at least six terror suspects were killed in a recent gunfight with troops in the country's northern state of Kaduna.

A cache of arms and ammunition belonging to the suspects were also recovered during the gunfight on Friday, at Maidaro village in the Giwa local government area of Kaduna, said a statement by Musa Danmadami, the spokesman for the Nigerian military. (Nigeria-Gunfight)

STOCKHOLM -- One was shot dead and three were injured in a shooting on Saturday evening near Farsta Centrum in southern Stockholm, Swedish Police said.

ASTANA -- Three people have died with 11 reportedly missing in forest fires that broke out Thursday in the Abai region, eastern Kazakhstan, according to local media.
