JERUSALEM, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Israel's largest hospital Sheba Medical Center has signed a strategic partnership with PureHealth, a leading regional healthcare network based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheba said in a statement on Sunday.

The two institutions signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Sheba campus in central Israel to collaborate on joint clinical research projects, expanding genetic research initiatives, promoting advanced healthcare technology, boosting health tourism, and advancing education and training.

Medical staff from both institutions will also be empowered by immersing themselves in the dynamic environment of the partner side, according to the MoU.

PureHealth, with more than 24,000 employees, operates over 25 hospitals, 100 clinics, and 160 laboratories across the UAE, in more than 150 specialties. Enditem
