BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd, a China-Brunei petrochemical joint venture, on Thursday held its fifth blood donation drive to support Brunei's blood banks, the company said.

Hengyi Industries is a joint venture between China's Zhejiang Hengyi Group and Damai Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary under the Brunei government's Strategic Development Capital Fund, owning 70 percent and 30 percent of the shares, respectively.

With the theme "Give Blood, Save Life", around 60 Hengyi's staff and management spared time to donate blood, with a total of 60 pints of blood collected.

"Since its inception in 2019, the blood donation drive has become a cornerstone of Hengyi Industries' Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, exemplifying our commitment to making a positive impact on the community," Chen Liancai, Hengyi's chief executive officer, told Xinhua. Enditem
