TEHRAN -- Iran's Defense Ministry has thwarted a major sabotage attempt targeting the country's missile and aerospace sectors, Iran's Defanews reported on Thursday.

A group of "moles and infiltrators" with connection to "Israeli intelligence service Mossad" had been trying to introduce defective parts into the production of Iran's advanced missiles, said Defanews, which is affiliated with the Iranian Defense Ministry. (Iran-Missile production-Sabotage)

SANAA -- Three people lost their lives and seven were injured in northern Yemen due to lightning strikes and floods in the past 24 hours, according to local health authorities on Thursday.

JAKARTA -- A 5.9-magnitude earthquake jolted East Nusa Tenggara province in central Indonesia on Thursday, the country's meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency said.
