LONDON, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- The Premier League is back in action this weekend at the end of the transfer window, which will influence some team selections over the next two days.

Luton Town is finally able to play their first home game since winning promotion and Kenilworth Road hosts an in-form West Ham United, who travels after two wins and a draw to kick off their campaign.

New signing James Ward-Prowse has slotted perfectly into David Moyes' side, with Jarrod Bowen also finding his form, and another win would take them to 10 points from four games - after they needed seven games to get just four points at the start of last season.

Saturday's lunchtime clash between Sheffield United and Everton already looks like a relegation six-pointer, with both teams having lost their first three matches of the campaign. Both will be hoping that new arrivals can start a revival, with Cameron Archer arriving at United, while Beto should add some muscle up front for Everton.

Juanma Lillo is in the dugout again for Manchester City as Pep Guardiola recovers from his back operation, and City will look to continue their 100 percent start to their title defense.

City looks ominous, despite losing Riyad Mahrez, Ilkay Gundogan and Aymeric Laporte this summer and with Kevin de Bruyne and John Stones injured. Fulham's hopes could rest on whether key midfielder Joao Palhinha makes a late move to Bayern Munich.

Chelsea found their feet in last week's 3-0 win over Luton and host Nottingham Forest, who suffered narrow defeats to both Arsenal and Manchester United, but has a potent attacking threat in Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi.

Burnley is another side without points so far this season, although they have played some attractive football and will take heart after a midweek Carabao Cup win over Forest.

Vincent Kompany's side entertains an impressive Tottenham Hotspur, whose new coach Ange Postecoglou will bring James Maddison back into the starting 11 after his side's midweek Carabao Cup exit to Fulham.

Bournemouth has had a tough start to the season under new coach Andoni Iraola, and they have a difficult visit to Brentford, who should have Ben Mee back to strengthen their defense on Saturday.

Brighton's game against Newcastle United looks to be a fascinating encounter on the south coast, with Brighton needing to recover from a surprise defeat to West Ham, while Newcastle was stunned by two late Darwin Nunez goals when they looked on track for three points at home to Liverpool.

Brighton's main task without the departed Moises Caicedo will be to control a talented and mobile Newcastle midfield.

Arsenal hosting Manchester United is Sunday's standout game, with both sides looking to confirm their candidacy for this season's title race. Arsenal was disappointing when they were held by Fulham last week, with some accusations that their play was too predictable, while United had to battle back after conceding two goals in four minutes at home to Nottingham Forest.

Scott McTominay could add some steel to the United defense, with Christian Eriksen dropping to the subs bench.

Aston Villa has recovered well after losing 5-1 to Newcastle on the opening day, and Unai Emery's side now travels to face Liverpool who is still working to sign another midfielder before the transfer window closes.

Darwin Nunez's brace against Newcastle mean he is pushing to start in the Liverpool attack, as rumors continue over Mohamed Salah's future amid interest from Saudi Arabia.

Finally, Wolves faces a tough visit to Crystal Palace without midfielder Matheus Nunes after his move to Manchester City. Enditem
