SEOUL -- A South Korean court on Wednesday rejected a warrant to arrest Lee Jae-myung, chief of the main opposition Democratic Party.

COLOMBO -- Sri Lanka has made commendable progress in implementing difficult but much-needed reforms and these efforts are bearing fruit as the economy is showing tentative signs of stabilization, said the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Wednesday.

ISLAMABAD -- A rocket launcher's shell exploded in a house in a village in Pakistan's southern Sindh province on Wednesday, killing at least eight people while injuring three others, police officials said.

ISLAMABAD -- At least 159 new cases of dengue fever have been reported from east Pakistan's Punjab province during the last 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday evening.
