ISLAMABAD, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Several people were injured when a bomb went off inside a mosque in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday, officials from non-government rescue organization Edhi said.
The blast happened when 30 to 40 people were offering Friday prayers in the Hangu district of the province, Irfan Bangash, the person in charge of rescue operations of Edhi in Hangu, told Xinhua.
The mosque collapsed following the explosion, and an operation to retrieve the stranded people is underway, Bangash said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Enditem
