TRIPOLI -- A Rome-bound flight took off Saturday here in the Libyan capital, resuming direct scheduled flights between Libya and Italy after a nearly 10-year halt.

TEHRAN -- A top Iranian military official said on Saturday that Iran's armed forces are ready for any form of cooperation with Pakistan in the "all-out fight" against terrorism, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.

Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Baqeri made the remarks in a message to Pakistani Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir to extend his sympathy over a deadly "terrorist" bomb blast at a religious gathering in Pakistan's southwestern province of Balochistan, which killed at least 50. TEHRAN -- Iran's Deputy Oil Minister Morteza Shahmirzaei said on Saturday Iran sends its oil tankers to other countries right before the U.S. warships' eyes.
