ANKARA -- Türkiye's military carried out its third cross-border air operation into Iraq on Wednesday, after a suicide bomb attack in the capital Ankara on Sunday.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned at a security meeting on Wednesday that all the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Syrian Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) infrastructure and energy facilities in Syria and Iraq are now "legitimate targets for the Turkish military." KHARTOUM -- The Sudanese government rejected on Wednesday the United Nations Human Rights Council (OHCHR)'s draft resolution proposing the formation of a three-member investigation committee to address violations and crimes during the conflict in Sudan.

"Sudan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms its categorical rejection of the draft resolution because it is wrong in describing what is happening in Sudan, and because it is prejudiced against the Sudanese Armed Forces, and does not take into account the real priorities of Sudan at this phase," the ministry said in a statement. TEHRAN -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday voiced the country's readiness to help ensure peace and stability in the Caucasus region and resolve differences between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
