BEIJING, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 130 km E of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea at 0142 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 117.8 km, was initially determined to be at 4.45 degrees south latitude and 153.44 degrees east longitude. Enditem
