GAZA -- The Palestine Red Crescent Society said on Wednesday that four of its paramedics were killed during Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has taken a heavy toll on both sides as it enters the fifth day.

MADRID -- At least four people were killed and nine others were injured in a fire that broke out on Wednesday in a residential building in the Galician city of Vigo, northwest coast of Spain.

VLADIVOSTOK -- Russia's Far East regions of Primorsky and Transbaikal saw a surge of Chinese tourists during the Golden Week from Sept. 29 to Oct. 6, the Russian Union of Travel Industry said on Tuesday.

The RST said that during the holiday week, Vladivostok in Primorsky received several flights and at least 17 to 18 tourist buses, mainly from China's Jilin province. (Russia-China-Tourism)

TOKYO -- Four people were injured after a car rammed into a clinic in Japan's Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo.
