GAZA -- The Palestine Red Crescent Society said on Wednesday that four of its paramedics were killed during Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has taken a heavy toll on both sides as it enters the fifth day.

MADRID -- At least four people were killed and nine others were injured in a fire that broke out on Wednesday in a residential building in the Galician city of Vigo, northwest coast of Spain.

VLADIVOSTOK -- Russia's Far East regions of Primorsky and Transbaikal saw a surge of Chinese tourists during the Golden Week from Sept. 29 to Oct. 6, the Russian Union of Travel Industry said on Tuesday.

TOKYO -- Four people were injured after a car rammed into a clinic in Japan's Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo.
