MADRID, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- The 10th round of games in La Liga sees two coaches make their debuts for new clubs, while two players face teams where they spent a large part of their career. Here are some things to look out for as football returns to Spain.

1. Ramos the focus on Alonso's Sevilla debut

Under normal circumstances, Diego Alonso's first game as Sevilla coach would capture the headlines, especially as his side entertains Real Madrid in the Sanchez Pizjuan stadium. However, the presence of Sergio Ramos in the Sevilla team changes all of that.

A Real Madrid legend, Ramos has returned to the club where he began his career, and although his presence was not enough to save Jose Luis Mendilibar's job, it has helped Sevilla tighten up at the back.

The man who made 671 appearances for Real Madrid will have his work cut out against a side containing Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr and a host of other attacking options, but expect Ramos to be in the center of the action in what promises to be a packed stadium.

2. Injuries open door for Inigo Martinez

It has not been a happy start for central defender Inigo Martinez since joining FC Barcelona after running down his contract with Athletic Bilbao. Martinez arrived with a foot injury that sidelined him for the start of the season, and when he recovered, Andreas Christensen, Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo and even Marcos Alonso were ahead of him in the pecking order.

So far, Martinez has started just one game and made two brief substitute appearances to total just over 90 minutes of football.

However, Kounde's injury and the fact Araujo returned late from international duty could open the door for Martinez when Barca faces Athletic on Sunday.

The question Barca coach Xavi Hernandez has to ask is: Does he want to expose the defender to the pace of visiting forwards Nico and Inaki Williams?

3. Clash of needs in Vigo

Celta Vigo coach Rafael Benitez survived the international break despite his side sliding into the bottom three a fortnight ago. Celta kicked off the season with high hopes after the former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Inter Milan coach joined in the summer, but has so far struggled to get results.

Celta has just six points from the first nine games of the season, which is the club's worst-ever start to a top-flight campaign.

Atletico Madrid is not the rivals Benitez would have chosen at the moment, given that they are currently fourth in the table and have forwards Alvaro Morata and Antoine Griezmann in good form.

Celta's defense hasn't leaked goals this season, but with Atletico conceding just eight times in the campaign, people get the feeling that if Atletico scores, it could be game over.

4. Tough debut for Garitano

Gaizka Garitano is another coach making his debut, as the new Almeria helmsman takes La Liga's bottom side to play Girona.

Almeria is without a win and has just three draws from the first nine games of the season in which they have also conceded 24 goals - the worst defense in La Liga.

Girona, meanwhile, has played some excellent football and currently lies second with seven wins in nine games, with their only defeat coming to Real Madrid.

Former Athletic and Eibar boss Garitano has a reputation for being a defensive coach, and the first task he has is to shore up Almeria's leaky defense, but whether he will be able to do that in Girona is doubtful. Enditem
