COLOMBO -- Four deminers in Sri Lanka were wounded on Saturday when several mines exploded, the country's police spokesman said on Sunday.

LISBON -- Portugal on Saturday raised its terrorism alert level from "moderate" to "significant" due to the potential threat arising from the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
