KUWAIT CITY -- Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah reiterated on Sunday Kuwait's refusal to normalize relations with Israel "unless a future Palestinian state is established in line with international resolutions."

DAMASCUS -- Israel launched a missile attack overnight Sunday targeting several areas in Syria's southern province of Daraa in response to the alleged firing of rockets from Syria, according to a war monitor.

MOGADISHU -- Ziraat Katilim Bank of Türkiye has opened a branch in the Somali capital of Mogadishu, becoming the first international bank to operate in the East African country in more than five decades, the Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) announced on Sunday.

BRASILIA -- A small plane crashed near the runway of Rio Branco International Airport at Brazil's northwest state of Acre on Sunday, said local reports.
