YANGON, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed after a collision involving a trailer and a motorcycle in southeastern Myanmar's Kayin State, an official from the Maekanal rescue organization told Xinhua on Tuesday.

The crash occurred in Kayin State's Myawaddy Township at around 2 p.m. local time on Monday.

The cause of the accident was that the trailer's tires blew out and overturned, colliding with the back of the trailer and motorcycle, local media reported.

As a result of this incident, the trailer overturned and both the men riding the motorcycle died. One died on the spot and the other died on arrival at the hospital, the official said.

The officials arrested the people who were on the trailer, he added. Enditem
