JAKARTA, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- A second-half header earned host Indonesia a 1-1 draw with Panama in Group A of the FIFA U-17 World Cup on Monday.
Held in the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in East Java province, Indonesia had a total of eight shots, compared to Panama's 13. With two draws, Indonesia currently ranks third in the group.
In another match of the group, Ecuador delivered a surprise 2-0 win against Morocco with Michael Bermudez's brace in the second half.
Ecuador, leader of the group with four points, will compete against Panama on Thursday, while Indonesia faces Morocco.
Spain secured a 1-0 victory over Mali in Group B thanks to Juan Hernandez's second-half goal.
Also in the group, Uzbekistan stunned Canada 3-0 with a brace from Amirbek Saidov and an own goal from Richard Chukwu.
Uzbekistan will compete against group leader Spain on Thursday with Canada to face second-ranked Mali.
