Myanmar textile fair 2023 to be held in December

YANGON, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar Textile and Machinery Fair 2023 will be held in Yangon next month, according to the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) on Thursday.
The event will be jointly organized by the association and Chinese Textile and Garment Association in Myanmar, aiming to develop cooperation between textile and garment industries of the two countries.
Every country has a different vision of fashion, design and color related to textiles. But everyone loves good quality and creativity. The market in Myanmar will be promoted through the event in cooperation with international partners, MGMA Secretary General Daw Khine Khine Nwe told Xinhua on Thursday.
"Garments, shoes and bags will be displayed in one place. I am very glad that everyone can clearly see Myanmar's product quality at the event," she added.
According to the MGMA, 25 Chinese brands will be shown.
Sales promotion and introduction of local small and medium-sized enterprises will be conducted.
The fair will be held in Yangon on Dec. 8-10. Enditem
