JAKARTA -- A train hit a minibus in Lumajang regency of Indonesia's East Java province on Sunday evening, leaving 11 people dead and three others injured, a rescuer said.

The accident occurred when a minibus passed through a railway crossing which has no train-crossing barrier in Ranupakis village at 19:53 local time, but suddenly a train came and hit the minibus, said Muhammad Hariyadi, head of the provincial search and rescue office. (Indonesia-Road Accident)

JUBA -- At least 32 people were killed Sunday in deadly communal fighting along South Sudan's border with the disputed Abyei Administrative Area, an official said.

TEHRAN -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on Sunday unveiled a new domestically-developed hypersonic ballistic missile, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported.

MANILA -- The death toll from a 6.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the southern Philippines Friday afternoon rose to eight, the Philippines' disaster agency said on Sunday.
