KIEV -- Visiting Germany's Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius announced on Tuesday a fresh military support package for Ukraine worth 1.3 billion euros (about 1.42 billion U.S. dollars), the Ukrainian government-run Ukrinform news agency reported.

"This package includes four further IRIS-T SLM systems, 155mm shells, and anti-tank mines," Pistorius said during a joint press conference with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. (Ukraine-Germany-Military Aid)

LIMA -- A total of 20 people have been confirmed killed in Monday's bus accident on a highway in Peru's Corongo province, in the western Ancash region, local authorities said Tuesday.

The Regional Emergency Operations Center in Ancash said another six people were injured in the crash Monday afternoon after the bus operated by the La Perla del Altomayo transport company drove off highway PE-12A along the Tarica-Yanac tract. (Peru-Bus crash)

TUNIS -- Three people died and 14 others were wounded late Tuesday in a three-car collision involving a loaded bus in central Tunisia's Sidi Bouzid Province, private radio station Mosaique FM reported.

Citing a source from the Sidi Bouzid Civil Protection, it reported that the "fatal" crash took place near the El Hnia town, adding that 10 ambulances had been dispatched to evacuate the injured to a local hospital. (Tunisia-Car Crash-Deaths)
