HANOI-- Vietnam's consumer price index (CPI) in the first 11 months of this year went up by 3.22 percent year on year, the General Statistics Office (GSO) announced on Wednesday.

Compared to October, the index grew by 0.25 percent in November, contributed by price hikes for eight out of the 11 items in the calculation basket. (Vietnam-CPI)

HONG KONG -- Asia's very first exchange-traded fund (ETF) tracking shares listed in Saudi Arabia debuted in Hong Kong on Wednesday, marking another step for the financial hub to deepen ties with the Middle East.

The ETF allows investors in Hong Kong to trade Saudi stocks including the oil giant Saudi Aramco either in Hong Kong dollars or Chinese yuan. SEOUL -- The foreign home ownership in South Korea rose in the first half due to higher housing possession by Chinese people, government data showed Wednesday.

The number of homes, possessed by foreign nationals, stood at 87,223 at the end of June, up 4.4 percent from six months earlier, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. (South Korea-Home Ownership)

SEOUL -- South Korea's real wage, adjusted for inflation, fell for the first nine months of this year due to the still high inflation, labor ministry data showed Wednesday.

The per-capita nominal monthly average wage in businesses with one or more regular employees grew 2.5 percent over the year to 3,961,000 won (3,070 U.S. dollars) during the January-September period, according to the Ministry of Employment and Labor. (South Korea-Real Wage-Inflation) Enditem
