TOKYO -- A total of 77.2 percent of high school students in Japan who are scheduled to graduate next spring have received job offers by the end of October, a recent survey has found.

COLOMBO -- Over 7,000 people in Sri Lanka have been affected by inclement rainy weather this week, the country's Disaster Management Center (DMC) said on Saturday in its latest situation report.

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia cracked down on 137 human trafficking and sexual exploitation cases in the first 10 months of 2023, up from 134 cases in the same period last year, the Interior Ministry said in a report on Saturday.

According to the report, 23 cases of human trafficking and 114 cases related to sexual exploitation were registered during the January-October period, and the authorities arrested 160 suspects, including 10 foreigners, and rescued 424 victims. (Cambodia-Human Trafficking)
