TEHRAN -- The Iranian Navy's Alborz destroyer entered the Red Sea on Monday after passing through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait amid rising tensions in the region, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported.
The development came as the Yemen-based Houthi group said on Sunday that 10 of its fighters were killed by U.S. Navy forces on the Red Sea. (Iran-Red Sea-Houthis)

JERUSALEM -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Monday it had arrested more than 2,550 wanted people in the West Bank since the outbreak of the conflict with Hamas in the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7.

GAZA -- At least 15 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded Monday in an Israeli airstrike on the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, local Palestinian sources said.
