India, Mauritius to jointly develop small satellite

NEW DELHI, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will develop a small satellite with Mauritius for mutual benefits, the Indian government announced on Friday.

The cost of the satellite at 200 million Indian rupees (2.40 million U.S. dollars) will be borne by India.

"The satellite is proposed to be completed in 15 months," said an official statement issued by the federal government. Enditem
