PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia made the gross revenue of 4.3 billion U.S. dollars from the export of agricultural products in 2023, said a Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) report on Monday.

The Southeast Asian country shipped almost 8.45 million tons of agricultural products to about 75 countries and regions during the January-December period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 1.9 percent, the report said. (Cambodia-Agriculture Export)

SEOUL -- South Korea's jobless claims fell last month, marking the first slide last year, labor ministry data showed Monday.

The number of new applicants for job-seeking benefits stood at 93,000 in December, down 6.3 percent from a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Employment and Labor. (South Korea-Jobless Claims)

TRIPOLI -- The Central Bank of Libya said Sunday that the country's oil revenues in 2023 were 111.4 billion Libyan dinars (about 23.3 billion U.S. dollars).

The central bank said of the total oil revenues, 99.1 billion dinars were oil sales and 12.3 billion dinars were oil royalties revenues. (Libya-Oil Revenues)

KABUL -- Afghanistan has exported saffron worth 27 million U.S. dollars over the past eight months, spokesman for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC) Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad said Sunday.

"During the eight months of the 1402 solar year (in the Persian calendar the year 1402 started from March 21) about 28,620 kilograms of saffron, worth 27 million dollars were exported," a private media outlet Tolonews quoted Jawad as saying. (Afghanistan-Saffron export) Enditem
