SEOUL, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Three local automakers in South Korea will voluntarily recall some 104,000 vehicles for manufacturing defects, the transport ministry said Thursday.
Renault Korea Motors will recall 83,574 units of SM3 model for a faulty component in the anti-lock braking system module, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Kia Corp. will recall 18,944 units of Carens RP for defective fueling valves, while domestic electric van manufacturer Jeis Mobility will repair the faulty protective rod of loading facility in 1,602 units of ETVAN.
Vehicles owners can visit repair and service centers to replace the faulty parts free of charge. Enditem
