SANAA -- The U.S.-British maritime coalition launched two strikes on Houthi positions in Yemen's Red Sea port city of Hodeidah on Saturday morning, the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.
The strikes, which came a few hours after the Houthis struck a British oil tanker, hit the Ras Issa coastal area in the northwestern part of the city, the report said. (Yemen-Houthis-Airstrikes)

TEHRAN -- Nine non-Iranian nationals were killed Saturday in Iran's southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan by unidentified armed individuals, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported.

FUNAFUTI -- Incumbent Tuvaluan Prime Minister Kausea Natano lost his parliamentary seat in the general election held in the Pacific island nation on Friday, according to media reports Saturday.

KHOST, Afghanistan -- The first-ever commercial flight opened from the Khost International Airport to Al Ain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Friday, the local television Tolonews reported on Saturday.
