BAMAKO -- Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger are no longer members of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), military officials of the three countries decided in a joint statement read this Sunday in the television news of Malian television (ORTM).

BANGKOK -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said here on Sunday that China and Thailand will officially enter a "visa-free era" from March 1 as the two sides have just signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption.

ISLAMABAD -- Over 250 children have died of pneumonia in Pakistan's Punjab province since the beginning of this year, the provincial health department said in a statement on Sunday.

ISTANBUL -- One person was killed on Sunday in an armed attack on an Italian church in Türkiye's largest city Istanbul, said Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya.
