BEIJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- A 5.8-magnitude earthquake jolted 264 km southwest of Houma, Tonga at 1049 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 185.5 km, was initially determined to be at 22.83 degrees south latitude and 177.14 degrees west longitude. Enditem
