ISLAMABAD, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were injured on Friday in a hand grenade attack at an office of a political party in Pakistan's southwest Quetta district, local police said.
Police said in a statement that some unknown miscreants riding on a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade at an office of a political party in Mulla Khel Abad area located at Eastern Bypass of Quetta, the provincial capital of the southwest Balochistan province.
Police, security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to a hospital.
According to rescue personnel, the injured were in stable condition and were being treated at intensive care unit of the hospital.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
Local police told Xinhua that at least one person was killed and 12 others injured in 10 different attacks of bombs and hand grenades in Balochistan province on Thursday.
