TOKYO -- Heavy snow is expected to hit many parts of Japan in the upcoming days, Japan's weather agency said on Saturday, warning of snow accumulation of up to five centimeters, even in the heart of Tokyo.
The forecast indicated widespread rain or snow in western Japan, with the possibility of some areas in Kinki region to experience heavy snow on Sunday, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). (Japan-Snow)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia and Georgia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the establishment of a political consultation mechanism in order to further strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation, a Cambodian foreign ministry's press release said on Saturday.
