BAGHDAD -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani said Monday that Iraq rejects any unilateral action by any country that does not respect the sovereignty of other countries.

Al-Sudani made the remarks when meeting with visiting Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian, according to a statement issued by al-Sudani's media office. (Iraq-Iran-Sovereignty)

BOGOTA -- Four people were killed and three others wounded in a military helicopter crash in Colombia's border area with Panama on Monday afternoon, local media reported.

Media El Tiempo, Red Mas and others quoted military sources as saying that the Black Hawk helicopter, carrying seven occupants including four crew members and three passengers, crashed while performing landing maneuvers at a military base. (Colombia-Helicopter crash)

ROME -- At least three people are confirmed dead and dozens are in hospital as foggy weather and low visibility in northern Italy resulted in a string of highway accidents on Monday, local media reported.
