SANAA -- The U.S.-British coalition launched three airstrikes on Yemen's northern province of Saada before dawn on Tuesday, Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.

TOKYO -- At least 109 people have been injured and taken to hospital in Tokyo through Tuesday morning after many slipped and fell due to heavy snowfall in eastern Japan, local media reported.

The injured, transported to hospital by 10 a.m. local time, were aged between four and 92, and none were in life-threatening condition, Kyodo News reported, citing the Tokyo Fire Department. (Japan-Heavy Snow)

ISLAMABAD -- Officials from the Pakistani navy and Maritime Security Agency rescued nine Indian nationals stranded in the open sea in the Arabian Sea, a statement released by the country's military said on Monday night.

The Indian citizens had been stranded in a boat in distress for 24 hours in the open sea when the Pakistani security agencies reached out to them and conducted the successful rescue operation, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the military, said in the statement. SEOUL -- One worker died and six others were injured while cleaning waste tanks in South Korea's steel mill, Yonhap news agency said Tuesday citing the fire authorities and police.
