MADRID, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Sevilla winger Lucas Ocampos has called for tighter security in grounds after an incident with a Rayo Vallecano fan during Monday night's La Liga game in the Vallecas Stadium.

Ocampos was preparing to take a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game when a young Rayo fan leant forward and appeared to poke him in the backside.

The winger turned around and remonstrated with the fan, before drawing the referee's attention to what had happened, as some home players asked their supporters to keep calm.

The match restarted after a brief pause, but when questioned about the incident after the final whistle, Ocampos said that although what happened could appear amusing on TV, the reality was more serious.

"You can see what happened in the images. I hope La Liga takes it as seriously as it takes racism and these things. I don't think all the Rayo people are like that because they have always treated us with respect, but there is always one idiot," he said.

"I hope it doesn't happen in other grounds, because if this happened in a women's football match, we know what could happen. I kept calm because I have two daughters, I hope this doesn't happen to them in the future," continued Ocampos.

Striker Youssef En-Nesyri scored two first-half goals to give Sevilla a vital win that lifts them to 15th place in La Liga with 20 points from 23 matches - three above Cadiz, who occupies the last relegation spot. Enditem
